A couple J. Crew reviews that I've been meaning to post. I'm hoping to get to a B&M soon to take a look at all the gorgeous new Spring arrivals! These are two items that have been in stores for some time now:
Marla dress in printed silk
I'll be attending a wedding this summer and thought this dress might be a possible option. The print is interesting and the blue color is great. However, I wish the skirt portion of the dress was a bit more form-fitting. I like the dress but the fit and $178 price tag (yikes) turned me off. I tried on a 0 and the fit was good (00 was not available).
No. 2 pencil skirt in blackwatch plaid
I am completely in love with J. Crew's pencil skirts so, needless to say, this baby is now sitting in my closet. The shape is slightly different than the regular No. 2 skirts (more of a bell shape) but the fit was still good (I'm wearing a 00, my usual No. 2 size). This skirt also has three small buttons and a front zip (both uncharacteristic of the No. 2).

I'm not usually one to be attracted to plaid, but this will look so great with black tights and any dark (green/navy/black) top. The versatility and price--I paid a little over $30 with the 30% off promotion that B&M's were running a couple weeks ago--made it impossible to resist.
